The number of disputes fell by 17% in 2024, according to the report of the national energy mediator, published Tuesday, May 20. However, some operators are being singled out for their controversial business practices. This is particularly the case for Wekiwi, JPME, and Primagaz.

And the bad students are… For the third consecutive year, the gas and electricity supplier Wekiwi has been given a “red card” by the national energy mediator, which published its annual report on Tuesday, May 20. It has the highest referral rate: 810 complaints filed with the mediator for 100,000 residential contracts, up 32% in 2024. This is 25 times higher than the average rate for all suppliers (32 per 100,000 contracts) and 8 times higher than the complaint rate at ENI, the second worst ranked for problems encountered.
